How do you write a paper on jazz and classical improvisation and show they are culturally different?

I am writting a paper for a music cultures class at UCM. I am having some trouble writting it and i cann’t seem to start the paper. It was due yesterday(12/4/2006) by 5pm. I had no clue what to write, but i had all my info and i knew what i was talking about. I just don’t know how to write what i’m thinking in a paper on cultural differences… anything that would help explain how jazz and classical music improvisation is culturally different.

I thimk the starting point is rhythm patterns, which are directly related to cultures.

Classical improvisation is very rare. Originally music was written to be improved – add a trill here, a run here – by artists but that’s not too accepted any more.

The classical culture is very buttoned up. The jazz culture rewards creativity (although even Jazz improve falls within a structure).
