How to use Windows Movie Maker

This is just a brief little stint for all of those folks who want to make AMVs but have no idea how to use Windows Movie Maker. It’s a short walkthrough of how I go through the process of putting together videos. Please note that this is just a video showing the mechanics of the program, not making a video from start to finish. To that end, I’d like to remind watchers to get brave. Experiment with it, find new and interesting combinations of song and footage or whatever you’re trying to do. Enjoy it. Again, I’d like to mention that this is NOT for people who know how to use the program. This is for people who want to make a music video and don’t know how to use Windows Movie Maker.

my windows movie maker doesent look like that ..mine just says tasks then underneath it has iported and then videos audio and pictures and stuff for you to click on..and like i an make movies on it but its harder that this way..so can someone please tell me why mines different !!

hey, whenever I go to import a video file, i either get a message saying i need to update codecs (even though i already have new codecs for mpg, avi, mpeg, divx, wma, etc), or the program just crashes. help please!
im having a similar problem there
when I download a video from online somewhere to use as a video, it either doesnt play or work at all, or it wont work with WMM, any suggestions?

to import sound id recommend using limewire and download music then open it onto windows movie maker
Guys I need help! I try to add some pictures to my video, but when I add them, the movie maker just quits. I don’t know maybe there are too many pictures added, but I don’t think so, there are only around 20.
