***READ FIRST*** ..just because it’s irritating when people post comments that would have been unneccessary if they read the description i’ve gotten a lot of requests to put up a tutorial video, so i finally got around to making one. idk how good it is but hopefully it’ll help you guys out. sorry the camera goes in and out of focus but it shouldn’t be a big deal. if you use this video to learn the song then go ahead and upload a video of you playin it if you want.. add it as a video response and i’ll approve it. show off yo’ skillz *****EDIT 9/5/08 some other parts that i get questions about that aren’t covered in this video: 2:12-2:29 in the actual song: this part is very similar to the beginning of the song. so for starters, play the beginning of the song with both ur hands on the same drum. should be pretty simple if you can already play it with ur right hand on the floor tom and left hand on the high tom. at 2:13, its alllmost the same beat, but on different drums. the order of drums to hit are snare, high tom, snare, floor tom. after the small fill, flip the snare and high tom, so then its HT, S, HT, FT. this is confusing but i hope it helps 0:42-0:44 in the actual song: after i made the tutorial video i realized i probably should have put this part in there too. i’ll try to explain it here in writing.. F-xxxsxxsxssc F = flam – = sixteenth note rest x = hi hat S = snare C = crash just read that line like it’s all sixteenth notes. when you come back in after the flam
