I love to watch kids with talent and I have been watching videos of America’s got talent and Britain’s got talent on you tube but I don’t know the names of the kids that have appeared over the years, so I have only seen a couple. I am writting a paper for a music cultures class at UCM. I am having some trouble writting it and i cann’t seem to start the paper. It was due yesterday(12/4/2006) by 5pm. I had no clue what to write, but i had all my info and i knew what i was talking about. I just don’t know how to write what i’m thinking in a paper on cultural differences… anything that would help explain how jazz and classical music improvisation is culturally different.

Perhaps we start by writing something that starts with a random melodic phrase (or chord?) and evolves through many iterations and have mutation and stochastic selection based on certain fitness criteria. Or something. Anyone have ideas?
