Thanks guys. Yeah, use the scoop effect very sparingly. A lot of the greats do that, but they don’t do it all the time. I can tell you for a fact the judges are not usually into excessive scooping.
I’m guessing the swing wasn’t at 160?
what tempo were you going there?
I didn’t really check. Probably around 170-80. Any faster and the double time gets pretty hard.

what type of reed are you using on the tenor?
Probably a La Voz medium. It’s a Springer “Rollover” mouthpiece.
