So when I found out he wanted a Lady Gaga song, I was a little petrified! I honestly didn’t know if we could pull something like that off. But the kids were asking for Lady Gaga themselves, so I put it on them to rewrite some of the lyrics to “Just Dance” to make it something that would be okay for school. And with just a little lyrical tweaking on their part, they totally recreated this song. I dare say ithey completely ROCK IT!!! Along with the two Tori Amos (Flavor and Gold Dust) and Bjork (One Day, Joga) songs we did this year, this might be my favorite cover out of this year’s group. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! I personally can play it myself, with a couple of my own changes. I have annotated a few places with some suggestions. I’ve noticed many people wanting sheet music and tutorials of LiveDJFlo’s piano arrangements, and so this is my appreciation to LiveDJFlo for his talent. I realise that many people aren’t so lucky to have the piano background that I have, and so I am using my skills to help others who don’t. How I made this video: – Inputted the notes into Sibelius (Music Notation Software) – Exported a MIDI file – Exported graphics to make sheet music – Converted the MIDI to an .mp3 – Stuck the .mp3 into Sony Vegas, and edited the sheet music in to make a video. The playing of the song in the background is the MIDI-turned-mp3 file from Sibelius, and so naturally it doesn’t sound as good as LiveDJFlo’s live version.
