Presenting Taylor Swift You Belong With Me Sheet Music for piano, saxophone, guitar or any other instrument. Swift was inspired to the song after hearing her friend talk to his girlfriend through a phone call. He acted in defense while his girlfriend was screaming, and he said, “No, honey … I have to leave the phone fast … I tried to call back … Of course I love you. More than anything ! Honey, I’m sorry. ” The sympathy she felt for him in the situation, Swift developed the concept of the song. In a session ended with Liz Rose, Swift explained the situation with his idea and created the opening line in the song, “You’re on the phone with your girlfriend / she’s upset, going off about Something That You Said.” Together, they developed a story that Swift described being in love with a friend and have desire for him that was separated from his girlfriend. Swift described the concept of the song as “basically about loving someone who is a girl who does not appreciate at all. Basically as’ the girl next door.” I like the guy who you have it all your life, and know him better than her, but somehow the popular girl has the guy ever. ” Swift recalled, “It was fun for us to write the line, She wears short skirts, I wear T-shirts. It was released as single from Fearless on November 4, 2008 as part of the Countdown to Fearless, a unique campaign in the shop iTunes, the song was released as the third single from Fearless on April 21, 2009.

I personally can play it myself, with a couple of my own changes. I have annotated a few places with some suggestions. I’ve noticed many people wanting sheet music and tutorials of LiveDJFlo’s piano arrangements, and so this is my appreciation to LiveDJFlo for his talent. I realise that many people aren’t so lucky to have the piano background that I have, and so I am using my skills to help others who don’t. How I made this video: – Inputted the notes into Sibelius (Music Notation Software) – Exported a MIDI file – Exported graphics to make sheet music – Converted the MIDI to an .mp3 – Stuck the .mp3 into Sony Vegas, and edited the sheet music in to make a video. The playing of the song in the background is the MIDI-turned-mp3 file from Sibelius, and so naturally it doesn’t sound as good as LiveDJFlo’s live version.
