Will a memory stick hold and store music mp3s for later retrieval?

I have about 6 gb of music mp3 files on my computer. I would like to clean up my computer and get it all (or almost all) off my computer. I don’t want to loose my music though.
I also don’t want to have to burn all this music onto cd’s to store.
Will a memory stick (or two) be a good way to store this music for later retrieval?
Do you know of any other options for storage if a memory stick won’t work?
Yes a memory stick can but you it will be complicated to put it on so you will need to buy a flash drive

so yes you can use it for such purposes
you can also get a cheap external hard drive and use that as well
