Fly Me To The Moon on Soprano Sax
Monday, August 2nd, 2010 at 12:00 pm
Bit of fun really, still trying to sound reasonable on the soprano. This is a new investment, my £169 one was a bit of a toy, so I have taken the plunge and got this Cannonball Stone Series one, it was good value and the keys feel lovely, great action. This is on an otto link 6* mpc with a 3 rico royal reed. Still only a month on the sop, so my chps need work. Back on the tenor for the next one!
haha I agree… but well played : ]
Just beautiful I love to listen to you
you play a lot of my favourite tunes and i will keep practicing till I can be as good . Keep posting
I think that this is great. I’m a Alto/Soprano Sax player myself and I would love to be able to create a sound as good as that on either one of them!
Keep going
sounds really cool man! Good job
Take care

i like the sound of you playing the soprano sax–nice
@hoppagidelim: “What I like in your playing is how you develop your musical ideas/feelings as a natural extension to the main theme, without any slightest tendency towards artificial show off of technics. Nowhere get I the feeling that you loose the musical feeling and try to fill somehowe the gap”.
I agree. I just returned to this clip to listen again and I enjoy it more than the 1st time. Adding it to my favorites.
NICE PLAYING! beautiful sound….thank you for sharing
Impressive is a gross understatement. I hope you decide to make a CD of your jazz standards. They are sublime.
Wow… You’ve got real talents on the soprano sax. I like your sound…but can i know how you produce that kind of sound with a little echo just like in the CD’s? Did you edited the sound? If you don’t mind, can i know where to find the sheet music for this song?
